I greatly admire it as a book and consider it to be a highly original and valuable piece of military history. It ought to transform our idea of the Second World War, it has mine.
Anyone reading about Kursk and the Bocage in Normandy will have to bear in mind this description of the realities. I congratulate you very warmly on a marvellous and original book based on the most detailed research.
